Installation
- Remote Installation - With our remote installation assistance, our experienced technicians install the Mobile VPN software on the production server via a virtual desktop connection. Our technicans will demonstrate and guide your IT, networking and radio teams on how to install the client software. Remote installation assistance can represent significant cost savings for your organization.
- On-site Installation - Our customers opting for on-site installation assistance benefit from a hands-on demonstration on how to install the client software as well as how to manage and optimize the server. Radio IP Software's technicians will install our Mobile VPN software on the server and on five mobile units. For the duration of the installation, our technicians serve as a high-availability resource for your IT, networking and radio teams and can answer product-related questions.
Customers get a fully functional and tested environment whether they choose the remote or the on-site installation service packages, which include the following deliverables.:
- Pre-installation technical assessment
- Software installation
- Product testing and ATP (Acceptance Test Procedure)
- Installation report documenting all activities and environment
Maintenance & Support
- Maintenance - With a current and active maintenance contract, your organization is eligible to receive software version updates (includes service packs and software patches), minor version upgrades (minor new features of your existing software product), and technical documentation. Since many of our customer organizations and their IT staff choose to roll-out software updates and upgrades on their own, assistance with installation is not included by default in their distribution. However, one of our installation service packages as described above can be requested and purchased.
- Remote Technical Support Services - Also included if you hold a maintenance contract is access to technical support. At Radio IP Software, our technical support specialists are always on-call for emergencies 24/7, 365 days a year because, as a mission-critical business, the last thing you have time for is to fend for yourself.
